Returns & cancellations policy

Medication integrity and patient safety limit when a dispensed prescription can be taken back. Call the pharmacy promptly with a cancellation, dispensing, damage, or recall concern.

DRAFT — not yet approved. Non-prescription return rules, refund procedures, payment methods, delivery remedies, and the policy effective date remain Pending/TBD.

Prescription safety comes first

Dispensed medication is not ordinary retail merchandise. After medication leaves pharmacy control, its storage, handling, temperature, contamination risk, and identity may no longer be verifiable. Applicable law and patient-safety duties can prevent it from being returned to stock, reused, or resold.

Before dispensing is complete

Call the pharmacy as soon as possible to request cancellation. A request is not guaranteed to be reversible after preparation, claim processing, compounding, special ordering, dispensing, or another irreversible step has occurred.

After medication leaves control

A dispensed prescription generally cannot be accepted for reuse or resale after it leaves pharmacy control. Whether another remedy is appropriate depends on the facts, records, payer rules, applicable law, and pharmacist review.

Incorrect, damaged, missing, or recalled items

If medication appears incorrect, damaged, contaminated, opened, mislabeled, missing, or affected by a recall, stop and call the pharmacy promptly at (760) 536-3571. Follow the pharmacist's instructions. Do not use, discard, transfer, or bring the item into the pharmacy until instructed when doing so could create a safety risk.

Pharmacy review

The pharmacy may review the prescription, label, product, packaging, dispensing record, payer response, chain of custody, and other relevant information before deciding what action is appropriate.

Possible outcomes

Depending on the verified facts and applicable requirements, an outcome could include instructions, correction, replacement, prescriber or payer coordination, claim adjustment, or another lawful response. This draft does not guarantee a particular remedy.

Non-prescription items

The pharmacy's non-prescription merchandise, receipt, time-limit, packaging, final-sale, exchange, and refund rules have not been verified for publication. No return window is promised on this website. Call before bringing an item to the pharmacy.

Pending: Pharmacy leadership must document the final non-prescription return rules, including any exclusions for opened products, temperature-sensitive goods, personal-care items, special orders, clearance goods, or products restricted by law.

Refunds, claims, and payment adjustments

Insurance adjustments

A payer claim may need to be reversed, rebilled, or otherwise adjusted. Eligibility and timing depend on the claim status, payer rules, prescription status, and pharmacy records.

Refund processing

Final refund methods and timing are pending verification. Any approved refund may depend on the original payment method, payer processing, pharmacy review, and financial-institution timing.

Delivery-related concerns

Delivery is not represented as an available service on this website. If a delivery was separately arranged through an approved pharmacy channel, call the pharmacy promptly about any loss, delay, damage, or incorrect handoff.
